Google has started offering Gemini 4 Argon outside the small set of cyber defenders who tried it first. On October 13, 2026 the company said developers and enterprises can call the model through the Gemini API in AI Studio and on the Gemini platform. People with a Google AI Ultra subscription can use it inside Google Antigravity. Ultra and Pro subscribers can also reach it in the Gemini app and in AI Mode in Search.

The public price is introductory: two dollars per million input tokens and ten dollars per million output tokens, with cached input marked down by 95 percent. Google says that rate holds through November 30, 2026. After that, the listed price becomes four dollars and twenty dollars per million tokens. The API exposes a one million token ceiling that covers input and output together, and the launch notes point developers at a continuation protocol for work that runs long.

Argon is the first Gemini 4 model the public can use. Google describes it as a tool for hard, multi-step jobs in coding, science, and agent-style work, and says the rest of the Gemini 4 family is still coming.

Why it matters

A frontier model with a published token price is now something a product team can call, not only a research demo.
