NVIDIA said on October 16, 2026 that the first laptops built on its RTX Spark chip are now on sale from ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft and MSI, with prices starting at $2,599. The chip puts a Blackwell RTX graphics processor and a Grace CPU, designed with help from MediaTek, into one package that shares up to 128GB of memory. NVIDIA rates it at up to one petaflop of low-precision AI compute, which it says is enough to run large language models and AI agents on the laptop itself instead of in the cloud.
The launch is aimed at three groups at once. Developers get native CUDA on Windows on Arm, a PyTorch build for that platform, and guided installers for coding agents such as GitHub Copilot. Creators get accelerated beta versions of Adobe Photoshop and Premiere. Gamers get DLSS 5 in titles like NBA 2K27. NVIDIA also points to its Nemotron 3.5 Bolt model, sized for local agent work on these machines, and to runtime tools that limit what an agent is allowed to touch. Named models include the Dell XPS 16, Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n and Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra. The performance figures are NVIDIA's own claims, and independent reviews are only starting to appear.
Why it matters
Running capable models on a Windows laptop could cut cloud bills and keep private code and data on the device.
