Pluto Security came out of stealth on October 13, 2026 with 42 million dollars in funding, TechCrunch reported. The total covers an 8.5 million dollar seed round led by TLV Partners, with founders of the security firm Armis also investing, and a 34 million dollar Series A led by Jump Capital. Skinos, the firm tied to Check Point co-founder Shlomo Kramer, joined that Series A along with Ansa Capital and other angel investors.
The software watches the AI tools people already use at work. That includes skills, extensions, MCP servers, and other components those tools rely on, plus the apps and agents employees create. Pluto says it can point out risky components, spot agent activity that looks dangerous, and enforce policy without stopping people from using or building AI tools. A free site called Plutonium lets anyone check publicly available skills, connectors, and add-ons. TechCrunch reported that the company has 40 employees in the United States and Israel, and that the new capital is meant for product work, security research, and a larger US presence.
Why it matters
