At GTC Berlin, NVIDIA announced a broad expansion of its Isaac robotics platform, including a new reference humanoid, datasets, and runtime software. Agile Robots unveiled Agile ONE SN, a humanoid built on NVIDIA's Isaac GR00T software and Jetson Thor computing hardware. The robot stands 1.40 meters tall, weighs 40 kilograms, has 31 degrees of freedom, and carries dual five-fingered hands with 20 degrees of freedom each and tactile sensing; its onboard Jetson Thor chip delivers 2,070 FP4 teraflops and 128GB of memory. It's scheduled to be available in early 2027.
NVIDIA also released Isaac Lab 3.0, an open-source robot learning framework now generally available, plus a new Isaac OS runtime for connecting AI, sensors, and controls to robot hardware in real time. It is releasing a SimReady Central Library of more than 2,000 simulation-ready assets and a Human 1M dataset of human activity recordings on Hugging Face, along with reference workflows that combine OpenAI's ChatGPT Astra with NVIDIA's Isaac and Cosmos tools on its DGX Station hardware.
NVIDIA listed numerous European robotics companies, including ABB Robotics, KUKA, Universal Robots, and Hugging Face partnering with Pollen Robotics, building on these open tools for factory simulation, warehouse robots, and research projects.
Why it matters
It signals NVIDIA is positioning its open robotics stack as the default foundation for humanoid and industrial robot development.
